Autumn Equinox…orienting these times
As we honour the nature cycles, we welcome the arrival of the Autumn Equinox. Witnessing the seasonal shifts, as the leaves start turning their different hues and begin falling to the ground. Nature is directly showing us what naturally falls.
Be-ing present with all our experiences brings up/through so many e-motions. As we gather to reflect, reconnect and recalibrate with the rhythms of this holy mystery where day and night meet as equals in their perpetual dance.
Communing with nature spirits and elementals through song, prayer and ritual we are interconnected with the certainty of change. Our relational network in togetherness.
Inviting a pause to honour balance, inter-dependence with our Mother in our specific human lives and everything in-between.
We feel the collective pain of others which is capable of lighting our own. We’re not so individual. It’s part of our humanity and the great play of life.
We living through a catastrophe, so are we willing to adjust our sails in the direction of emotional maturity? The storm can be relentless, overwhelming and sad. Can you see the reflection within yourself, including the parts you willing to reject? Hard to be with, yet the inquiry is there. Then Spirit reminds us…”Hey hang in there, there good things to be had too”. What are you showing up to feel and be present in the Eternal NOW? It’s not personal, linear nor do you even have to name it.
In the vulnerability, it’s an opening of another layer and spectrum of experiences to appear.
Dial up the light within, log in some time with the mystery that lives within you. Alchemising pain into compassion and kindness.
It’s a great life goal, to be an ethical person and the measure of wisdom to make choices that support that. The invitation is to move towards a good character, should you choose. When pressed to navigate life, it’s with discernment of the ability to make courageous and kind decisions. Care and presence in the impermanence of it all.
Lean into the quality of being resourced and supported by Spirit, your Benevolence and hue-man kin, for it is a shared experience.
Reconcile with the waters, letting go, cleansing and learn to go with the flow. Feeling the greater body of the river, estuaries, oceans and water-ways. For water is our life blood that needs to be cherised for generations to come. Sometimes we forget the support of relational awareness. We are not alone in the larger web.
If it’s beginning to feel late in life, like it is for me. Grieving those parts of myself that is gone. Self reflection, what do I need to set down? And at the same time seeing the wisdom shining through the cracks. Acknowledging what has died, gone, never to return. And the idea of becoming again and again, learning to embrace the good medicine and at the same time accepting and validating it all. We are dying to ourselves (daily) it’s like a diamond, cutting of refinement, subtle and stranger.
Next ticket of letting go, the rights of passage in this evolution…as we die again to who we have been for new things to happen and emerge. Like a lotus flower emerging from the dark and murky mud into the Eternal More.
Tenderness over the Equinox. Hold them both – the dark and the light, the being lost and being found, the pain and the joy. Allowing the darkness to give depth to the light. Feeling our way together through the dreaming and reverence that guides us.
Blessings upon blessings
